Patchwork Classes and Workshops

At Packing Shed Patchwork we have several options for patchwork classes and patchwork workshops.

Two-day weekend workshops in crazy patchwork are available. Enjoy learning knew embellishing and embroidery techniques in the garden studio and the company of sewing friends and partake in lunch under the pergola. 'Allow me to do the cooking for you, enjoy being spoilt over the weekend'.

Weekend workshops are held on a Saturday & Sunday. Morning and afternoon tea & lunch, usually held under the pergola or on the verandah, are all provided. Many types of classes are on offer for the student covering crazy patchwork, embelishment techniques, beading, embroidery, traditional hand patchwork and quilting. Student numbers are small (6 maximum) so personal attention can be given to each student.

FEB 23 & 24 – Sampler thread cushion

MAY 17 & 18 – Crazy cushion

AUGUST 16 & 30 – Pyramid doorstop

SEPTEMBER 11 & 12 – Sampler thread cushion

OCTOBER 25 & 26 – Crazy evening purse

NOVEMBER 13 & 14 – Crazy evening purse.

*Please note if the above workshop dates do not suit I can customize a class for you. Minimum of 3 students required for a class. A 50% deposit is required one month prior to class for booking. Full refunds will be given if the workshop is fully booked or cancelled.

2007 Term classes are held every fortnight over a school term, usually 5 lessons per term. Morning and afternoon tea are provided. Bring your lunch on the day. Larger projects are taught in these classes such as quilts and wall hangings or one of my designs:-
